Over the past year we celebrated our baby boy's first birthday, which was a marked difference from the way the little guy entered the world. We welcomed a new neice to the world who we hopes stays a baby for as long as she can (this aunt loves her some babes). We have watched our daughter turn into a very lovey and yes, sometimes sassy little lady who gives out "i love yous" and kisses in spades. We waved goodbye to a great house and neighbors and packed it up for a house we've been patiently waiting to buy for several years. We've been embraced by wonderful neighbors on the 'stem who are angels sent to us with a very fun backyard ala MTV cribs that we've enjoyed. We've been grateful for the new school the kids started. I haven't officially blogged about the school change as we're happy, but still missing our Aissatou tons. We're thankful for healthy parents and grateful that our Papa Kerr still has a smile on his face after quite a challenging year. We're excited to see Great-Grandpa after spending the last two months recovering. We're thankful for parents who are always to the rescue whether it's a work trip, tearing down heinous wallpaper or just whenever we need them. We feel so loved and blessed by the friends, new and old in our lives. We are thankful for so many more things, including our upcoming trip-with-no-kids-for-the-first-time-in-four-years-and-can't-wait-to-have-a-fruity-drink-and-put-my-toes-in-the-sand-ahhh!
Yes, Bridg is biting Sam on the face and we're thankful she didn't leave a bruise.
