Even despite the massive rain we've been having, Fall is an awesome time of year here. The weather can be pretty warm right up to Thanksgiving if we're lucky. We managed to have one of those crazy "Indian Summer" (what does that mean anyway?!) type weekends here and escaped along with the rest of Nothern Virginia to a pumpkin patch. This year we tried out Cox Farms and had a pretty fun time. Bridget loved the slides, the pretend three little pigs house and the big slides, while Sam loved wearing us out by wandering through strangers and of course, the food (apple cider and french fries were favorites).
On the front step before we left.

Sam kept asking to "sit sit" and just wanted the pic to be of him and blankey.

He refused to be in a family pic.

In the "choo choo". Look at Sam's pink cheeks.

Inside one of the mazes. I went through with Bridg and had to belly crawl. That was enough of being one with the hay for me.

Yes, animals may bite and so do 18 month olds.

French Fries!

Slide with daddy.

On the hay ride. My big head blocking Gigi.

Yes, that would be Gigi and Papa's mustache.
