My mom spent almost the entire month of April in Virginia. We sure put her to work - painting, kid wrangling, gardening, cleaning - so it's nice to take time out and enjoy a weekend in DC. One Sat we bravely ventured to the National History Museum. There was only one meltdown after we got our Starbucks (thank goodness there was caffeine in hand) and the umbrella stroller was either fought over or not used not at all. The metro was a big hit and also sleep inducing for Sam. The kids loved the dinosaurs, but that also led to lots of questions about bones and death from Bridget (and some made up answers from me).
B's "not me" face.
Checking out them bones, them bones...
Mini-saurus.
He's the reason they constantly clean glass at museums.
Quite possibly the tiniest people on the mall.
