When Baby Samuel Grows Up...

Well, according to big sis, BabySamuel (yes, all one word in our house, ha!) has a lot to look forward to when he gets big. Bridget talks a lot about babies and what Sam will get to do when he gets bigger. Some of the things on her list - he'll get teeth, he can play with her kitchen, she can share with him (in theory only, I'm sure)...and then there's all the things she can teach him like how to crawl, how to walk, how to eat grapes (caught her trying to feed him one the other night!), and so on. Last night I heard her showing him a book of stamps and I quote - "Sam, I the teacher. These are stamps for letters." I have a feeling the words "Sam, I the teacher" will be a big hit with him for about one day once he realizes what she means.

Bridg also is pretty obsessed with "when she was a baby." Here's the sequence of events - "I was in mommy's belly, then I got born and mommy gave me a ba-ba." That's it in a nutshell. But, think she's a little confused when she says that when "mommy and daddy get born, she'll give them a ba-ba." Little late!

It's definitely a fun age and honestly, we've been waiting for the shoe to drop, but Bridget adores her baby brother.

BIG smile, BIG belly!

Sam driving the Jeep. It's interesting, Bridget is much more of a front seat driver. She prefers to sit in the passenger seat and let Max, Sam, her babies or her monkey drive. If only this phase continues until she's 18.

Bridget wanted to hold him next to the fireplace of all places! Little hard to take a picture and make sure no one encounters danger.

Is it us, or is Bridg getting back to her Latin roots that we don't know about in this picture?! Can you say SAL-SA?!

You think we see this face much?! HA! Cousin Max, look closely, you will see that Bridgie has your birthday invitation. She is super excited!
