Nellie Olsen?!?!
Marc took the picture and I gasped! There was my daughter looking like Laura Ingalls Wilder's nemesis, Nellie Olsen! For those of you too young or prairie illiterate, Nellie was the mean girl everyone despised on Little House on the Prairie. Bridgie hasn't shown too many Nellie characteristics - and help me if I am like Mrs. Olsen one day - but the resemblance made me laugh!

After you took this pic did you rush down to the banks of plum creek with Jack and Mr. Edwards? Then did Marc play the fiddle in his jammies after Jamie lit the kerosene lamp?
Jill, you're close. We were too busy saddling up the horses to drive Mary into town to see Doc Baker. And, then afterwards, a tornado struck Walnut Grove and we had to take shelter in the church while Pa rescued the entire town!
Then did you sing "Bringing in the Sheaves" with Reverend Alden? And after that did Miss Beetle teach you arithmetic on the blackboard?
