The Next Blizzard of "1978"?!

Okay, maybe not quite that bad to you, Ohioans, but we can't take it anymore. What happened to our mere 5 inches of snow a year and the balmy 45 degree weather we used to have in January?! Anyway, if you haven't seen the news, we have 20 inches and counting and that was as of 7AM this morning. They are prediciting another 5-10 inches today. It was hard to believe earlier this week when they were talking about the storm and telling people to be prepared to be trapped in their homes for 3-5 days! Both Marc and I went to the grocery store separately yesterday. I went at 6AM and it looked like WWIII - no milk, no meat, little produce, boxes in the aisles...well, thankfully they stocked-up by 9 as Marc came up with a bunch more goodies. And, not too worry about Gigi who is still here, I went to the Total Wine store this week so she has all of the white wine she needs to get through the storm (hehe).

Bridget's first "real" sledding adventures from 5PM yesterday with the big girls. She buddied-up with two eight-year old girls in the neighborhood who took her sledding while the daddies hung out in the cul-de-sac drinking Yuengling. The girls even sent Bridg down by herself (!) and she wiped out, but loved every minute.

Our house at 9AM this morning....

Our house early afternoon when half of the magnolia tree collapsed.

The view from our front door at 7AM.

Back deck. Anyone up for grilling?!

Who is that cute eight month pregnant ski bunny wearing a ski jacket from 1997?!

And, then the adventures indoors...We've managed to stay busy. Today she helped me make cookies and practiced being a big sister feeding her babies. I am thinking of this as an opportunity for big sister bootcamp. She has proven she's not quite ready for potty training bootcamp although she talks a good game.
