After the Storm

What a week! After the whopping 18 inches last weekend, we got another seven this week. To top of it off, I traveled to Los Angeles for my last work trip doctor's note in hand. The flight attendent must have felt pity for me because I got upgraded to first class on the way there. Too bad, I couldn't enjoy the free for all champagne! haha. Thankfully my mom was still in town or Marc would have had his hands full. Bridget came down with a cold this week that landed her in the ER because our doctor's office was closed. Turns out it is a bad cold plus an ear infection. We feel extremely lucky because this is the first time in her little life that she's been on an antibiotic. Gigi left today on a big airplane (Bridget still talking about Gigi up in the sky) and will be back in about five weeks to get ready to help with Baby number two. I posted some pictures and a video from the week that should be called "Cabin Fever!" Enjoy

Bridget is so into her babies. The one next to her is named "Susie." She now has to talk to Susie on her cell phone in addition to feeding Susie and baby and putting them night-night (on their bellies like Bridget sleeps). She is playing with the keyboard Grandma and Grandpa Cordes got her for Christmas. She loves it and tells me we are in the band. Figures she gets the Yo Gabba guitar (gee-tar as she says) or the keyboard and Daddy and I are relegated to playing the symbols.

Susie is wearing a doll dress that Bridget wore the second week out of the hospital. Can't believe she was that tiny!

Picture of Bridget and her "bank-ie" on one of the few days we did actually make it outside this week.

On the phone with Papa I'm sure.

"Everybody's sleeping" - one of B's favorite phrases when it's dark out. Usually when she says that my response is "Yes, everybody is sleeping EXCEPT mommy and Bridget!" She doesn't take the hint though.

Mountain man in suburbia. Who would have thought living in a condo and a townhouse until now that we would have had a chainsaw?! Thanks, Papa Kerr, good foresight.

Wearing a hat that would make Papa Kerr proud.
