Happy Mother's Day!

We had a very low key Mother's Day and spent time with Gigi and Great Grandma. They are both very impressed with Bridget's "Drunken Sailor" walk. Gigi is also amazed at how Bridgie is raiding all the cabinets in her kitchen and how she "happened to find the steak knives!" Time for grand-baby proofing! We also had a little mother/daughter baking session with some muffins. It's amazing how much you can get done when your one-year-old decides that 4:45AM is a good time to start your day!

Late in the day, we spent some time at Layla and Jack Mowery's. Layla was a great big sister and gave Bridget one of her babies to play with. Jack and Bridget also hit it off as we suspected. Even though they had a little tug o' war over a ball, they managed to sneak in a few hugs and Jack gave a few kisses. The next time you see the Mowery's you should ask them about the "band" they started in their basement with Layla as the star of the show!
