Cupid Cuteness

The Kerr house was full of L-O-V-E this valentine's. Cards were given, lots of candy eaten, heart cookies baked and little legs danced. La Petite had a Valentine's Day dance party. We were the first to arrive and about the last to leave. We also had some fun with our good friends Joan and Julia as the girls made up some yummy cookies.

Each girl had their specialty. For Julia, it was piling on candy hearts and for Bridget it was piling on the sprinkles. Her two sprinkle quotes "Look, mom, it's just like fairy dust". Cut to her sprinkling it on her hair. Second quote. Me "Bridget, please don't eat any more sprinkles" (said multiple times, more emphatic the more it was said). Bridget's response, "I'm not eating them. They are jumping in my mouth because they want to hide."


Yum.


Here's Joan. Her expression is priceless. Joan is about the most creative person I know. She has a real knack for cooking, esp baking, and has given me some good recipes (just made the very fancy Butternut Squash Lasagna). We also share a love for decorating and rummaging through vintage furniture.
