The Dora Christmas special has been on replay at the Kerr house. The Nochebuena song almost made the Christmas playlist. For those of you who prefer French, Nochebuena means Christmas Eve. Ours was a merry one. In fact, perhaps one of the most fun ones we have had. My mom's house was it's usual winter wonderland, although I think she did add a few more decorations this year. When we arrived the night before at 3:30AM the house was lit up classy Griswold style and we loved every minute of it. Bridget had never seen so many lights! Back to Christmas Eve, not only were my grandparents there, we had two Aussies in town to help with the celebration, as well as Bridget's honoree sister Becca who joined us on our beach trip, Russ and Carol my surrogate parents who couldn't make the trip south to see Jill as well as another one of my mom's BFFs, Susan and her son. In addition - we had the usual cast of characters - Jodie, Tim, Haley, Bill, Cindy, Megs, Kevin, Jordan, Jenn....The party went on until 12:30 and in bed by 2. Happy to report B slept in until 8 when she proudly announced she was not on the naughty list based on the number and size of presents Santa brought! Little does she realize if she were on the naughty list, she'd still be getting some presents.
I spy two Christmas angels.

B's 3rd outfit change of the night into Tinker jam-jams. This could have been about 11 - which is the latest this girl has ever stayed up.

One of the many things we have to be thankful for this holiday season - my grandpa was "released" from the Lutheran Home after completing 90 days of rehab. Here is he with his darling daughters.

Sam and daddy. One of the traditions Marc has established - all on his own - is that he wants his tie to match one of the kids outfits on Christmas. Sounds a bit like prom 1993, right?! We'll it is pretty cute and he can't be stopped. He was a little thrown off this year when I showed him B's sparkly gold dress so he decided to work on Sam and lo and behold a tie arrived from Scotland. Yes, you read right. It was marked Air France and everything.

And, to think Bridget was once afraid of this guy.

Two little ladies - Gigi and C.

Little pre-church pic.

Grandma & Grandpa.

Haley and B.

Her "angel" smile.

Richie Rich.

B and the cradle my parents gave her.

Bye, Megs! We'll miss you. Until the next time you return to the states...
