Birthday Boy!

Technically the birthday boy isn't one yet, but we celebrated a little early since my parents were in town and a party is always a good idea! The party was a little more low key than Bridget's first, but was perfect for Sam. In fact, he had the first noticeable shy moments of his life and was pretty clingy with everyone around. This shocked and delighted us. Shocked in the fact that the boy we call "Happy" was being anything other silly and delighted in the fact the little monkey who is always on the run wanted to cuddle.

Singing happy birthday. This is one moment that I wish we would have caught on tape. He loved the singing, but got really embarassed and started to hide his face.


Big sissy want to blow out the candle...but alas, no luck. It was Max who triumphed in the end.
