Last Nice Weekend

As my roommate from Hoboken used to say, "it's the last nice weekend of the year." Mind you, she would say this for about two months in a row and it's still a running joke between the two of us. WELL, this was the last nice weekend of summer, so we wanted to take advantage of being outdoors especially since Gigi and Papa were in town. Bridget was VERY excited to see them and clung to them all weekend. It was just adorable to watch.

Overall, it was a pretty low key weekend. On Saturday, Gigi took Bridget to music class and then we headed to Gravely Point for a picnic and to watch the airplanes take off from Reagan National - still one of Bridget's favorite things! Sunday we headed to brunch and then went to Roosevelt Island. Gigi and Papa even got to spend their 39th wedding anniversary at an Italian restaurant WITH BRIDGET! How fun. HAHA. At least Marc and I got a date night out.

Thanks for coming Gigi and Papa!

At one of the fountains at Roosevelt Island. Bridget loves the "wa-wa".

Couldn't get Bridget to get her fingers out of her mouth --- she's cutting about six teeth right now! Four mollars and two eye teeth. Ouch.

With Daddeeeee (as Bridget says).

Check out my belly - thirteen weeks and already starting to show.

Papa taking Bridget on one of the many walks during brunch. She evidently had something against sitting still!

Outside of Evening Star Cafe.

At Gravely Point - check out the Washington Monument in the background.

Wearing a hat that is too little and stealing "crackers" from everyone.
